The original council of the Knights of Columbus was formed in 1882. The Knights of Columbus Marian Council 3779 was formed on Feb. 28, 1954. We serve the community, church and youth through Christianity. We support multiple churches and schools in the Shreveport and Keithville area.

All members along with their family are encouraged to attend our social on Tue. Apr. 5th at 6:00 PM. Our insurance agent Scott Willis will present a history of the Order, an update on the causes for Canonization, and discuss what our Knights are doing locally. He'll cover the benefits provided to all Knights of Columbus and give families a brief overview of the financial benefits available to our membership. Everyone is welcome to come see what the Knights of Columbus has to offer. You are welcome to bring your children and/or someone from church who is thinking about becoming a Knight of Columbus member.
